Event Terms and Conditions

By attending THL events, you accept The Humane League's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community!

Please note that in the course of your attendance at this event or its related activities or programs, you may be photographed or recorded. By attending events, you agree to allow your photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns without compensation or notice to you.

By submitting this form and in consideration for your attendance at this event, you hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge The Humane League, its affiliated organizations, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from all claims, demands, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of your participation in this event.

Attendees must be 18 years or older.

In-Person Event Covid-19 Safety

I understand that during this Event I will be in contact with other person(s) including other Event attendees, person(s) in or around the Event location, those with whom I am meeting, or other person(s) who are utilizing public transportation or lodging facilities. As such, I represent the following:

• In the 10 days prior to the Event, I have not experienced symptoms of COVID-19;
• In the 10 days prior to the Event, I have not tested positive for COVID-19 (with or without accompanying symptoms; and
• In the 10 days prior to the Event, I have not traveled to a state or country that is on a list of jurisdictions requiring self-quarantine upon return.

I agree that if I believe that any of the above have occurred, I will not attend the Event and will notify my manager and/or event coordinator immediately of the cancellation. Further, if I attend the Event and am soon thereafter diagnosed with COVID-19 and/or begin to display symptoms of COVID-19, I agree to immediately notify THL at [email protected] and follow any local regulations issued by my local and/or state health department for notifying the respective agencies of such illness. I agree that I will not attend any future THL events until I can again fully warrant all of the above.

I agree that I will follow and comply with all Event guidelines issued by THL, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and/or any state or local COVID-19 laws, including but not limited to those regarding the use of masks and social distancing while attending the Event. I understand and agree that I will comply with local mask and social distancing requirements regardless of my vaccination status. I understand that if I refuse to comply with the requirements set forth in this Waiver, I will be asked to leave the Event and I will do so. I am aware that attendance of the Event, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, involves the risk of exposure to and illness from COVID-19. I understand that exposure can result in serious infection, personal injury, or death, risks which cannot be fully eliminated by protocols and personal discipline.

By signing this Release and in consideration for my attendance at this Event, I hereby agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and release and forever discharge THL, its affiliated organizations, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have against THL by reason of my participation in this Event, including exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19.

I affirm that I am 18 years of age or older, and competent to contract in my own name, or if I am under age 18, a parent or guardian has signed below. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS RELEASE, AND FREELY AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME THE RISK AND WAIVE MY RIGHTS CONCERNING LIABILITY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
